Souness hit out at France starSaid midfielder is too lazyPogba banned for failed drug testWHAT HAPPENED?
Souness was a frequent critic of Pogba during the midfielder's time at Manchester United. The France international was once regarded as one of the best players in the world, but he has been accused of failing to live up to his potential, resulting in him leaving United to return to Juventus on a free transfer.

Souness has once again taken aim at the 30-year-old, saying laziness has held him back from living up to the hype that surrounded him at an early age. The midfielder is currently sweating on the results of a drugs test having tested positive for testosterone. He must now wait until October 5 for the counter-analysis results on the B sample that he provided on August 20.
WHAT THEY SAID
"He’s an extremely talented young man. He should be one of the best midfield players in the world, but he’s lazy," he said on the podcast, before citing his stuttering approach to penalty kicks. "If you remember how he used to take penalties. That was him wanting to be the star of the show for that period of time."
Souness added: "If he’s lazy in matches he’ll be lazy in training and how can you get after the rest of them if you don’t get after him."
Asked if he his criticism may be unfair to Pogba, Souness said: "Not for a nanosecond, no, he’s a lazy tw*t."
