Defender meet Tammy Reynolds last seasonFormed part of celebrations in promotion pushJoke shared between player and co-chairmanWHAT HAPPENED?
The Dragons defender crossed paths with Reynolds’ mother last season during an epic 3-2 victory over Notts County that went a long way towards securing the Welsh outfit automatic promotion back into the Football League.

Tammy Reynolds was seen joining in with the wild celebrations at SToK Racecourse, with Tozer being asked afterwards whether he was her favourite. He said: "[I'm] not quite her favourite, but we had a lovely hug. She’s not a bad-looking woman at 77 it’s got to be said!" Ryan Reynolds responded to that comment by saying: "Get promoted and I’ll make you my new stepdad, Tozer."
WHAT THEY SAID
Tozer has now continued the long-running joke by telling what he had got Reynolds for his 47th birthday – which was celebrated on October 23: “I was going to get him a picture of myself with his mum because of all the history there. But there was no whip round as I’m sure he’s not short of a few quid, but it will be great when we see him.”

Reynolds is a regular visitor to Wrexham, alongside co-chairman Rob McElhenney, and will likely have something to say to Tozer when they are next reunited. For now, Phil Parkinson’s side are focused on pushing their way into the League Two promotion places, as they sit fourth in the table at present.
