Transfer guru Fabrizio Romano reports that the Argentine side have turned down an ambitious offer from Botafogo – which included a clause to involve sister clubs Crystal Palace or Olympique Lyon – making room for the Herons to swoop. A bid from Lionel Messi and Co. is expected to arrive soon.
