Spurs beat Liverpool 2-1Luis Diaz had goal disallowedVan Dijk confused by VARWHAT HAPPENED?
VAR had some controversial interventions that damaged Liverpool's chances in the showdown.
First Curtis Jones saw a yellow card changed to a red after referee Simon Hooper reviewed the replay of his challenge on Yves Bissouma.
Shortly afterwards, Luis Diaz thought he had fired the Reds into the lead but the flag waved him offside and VAR ruled that the decision was correct, only for PGMOL to admit afterwards that the goal should have counted.

Immediately after that incident, Spurs went up to score and although Liverpool found the equaliser, their situation got worse when Diogo Jota was sent off with two yellow cards in quick succession and Joel Matip netted a late own goal to ensure the Reds lost.
The controversial calls angered coach Jurgen Klopp, who said that the game had "the most unfair circumstances, crazy decisions" than any match he had ever seen.
WHAT THEY SAID or DID YOU KNOW?
Van Dijk was equally perplexed by some of the incidents in the match, as he told : "The VAR should be absolutely clear and obvious with everything they're deciding on. I've seen the still [image of Diaz's goal] back, I think on live TV there were no lines being shown.
"It's all a bit strange, I don't know who was in the VAR room and making that decision. It's not a good thing, it doesn't look well either. It is what it is, we lost."
